Kindergarten Cop (1990): Arnold Schwarzenegger and a Class of Wild Kids...

Despite negative reviews, Kindergarten Cop (1990) still managed to be a huge box office success, proving that viewers listen to their own hearts more than the opinions of grumpy critics. Directed by Ivan Reitman, Kindergarten Cop is nearly impossible not to like, and still remains a perennial favorite. Just the premise alone, without even watching the film, is funny: Arnold Schwarzenegger goes undercover in a classroom full of five-year-olds. Schwarzenegger is great in the lead role, which together with Twins (1988), proved that he truly has viable comedic abilities.
John Kimble (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a tough-as-nails cop that is after a drug-dealer named Cullen Crisp (Richard Tyson)...

Eager to find a witness to testify against Crisp, Kimble and his partner, Phoebe O'Hara (Pamela Reed), travel to Astoria, Oregon. Crisp's ex-wife, who fled his brutality, is rumored to be hiding in the town, and Crisp's son is attending the local school. Kimble goes undercover as the new Kindergarten teacher, hoping to figure out which kid is Crisp's...

     With no teaching experience...

Kimble is out of place from the start, and ready to blow-up...

     But with determination...

      and a little lucky fun...

      and comedic antics...

Kimble manages to make some headway... He even falls for a fellow teacher (Penelope Ann Miller)...

but things with her may be more complicated than they seem...
